Nick Carter rocks CNE Bandshell

Let me start by saying this: I’m NSYNC for life. ”It’s Gonna Be” will always be my jam. But one of the duties of a best friend is accompanying your BFF to see one her favourite boy band members and make sure that she doesn’t commit any felonies.

With hundreds of women reliving their high school fantasies packed into the CNE Bandshell, they were primed and ready to scream, chant “I love you” and “take it off” to a man that made their hearts swoon when they should’ve been studying for midterms.

Decked in an American flag space suit and futuristic looking hammer pants, Nick Carter went through all his solo hits including crowd pleasers “Burning Up”,” Blow Your Mind” and “Just One Kiss”. He even slowed things down and brought one lucky lady (sadly, not my bestie) on stage and serenaded her with “Special.”

Not forgetting where he came from, Nick Carter threw in remixes of some of the songs that made him famous. He and his four-piece band played BSB hits “Incomplete,” “Larger Than Life” and “I Want it That Way.”

I’m not gonna lie, it was actually a good concert. I did find myself tapping my toe during some of the songs. I have to admit that Mr. Carter put on a great show for the ladies at the CNE and solidified the hold he has on their hearts.

FYI: Still on Team NSYNC.
